Born in Calvados in 1946,
from an agricultural background,
Daniel DELAMARRE obtained his
fitter's qualifications in 1963 and began work in a small local
company.
He went on the work for RENAULT TRUCKS, GEIGER and then GUY
DEGRENNE.
As a talented fitter, he became foreman for a company at Vire.
It was at 40 years old that he created his own company with his
wife and colleagues. The first tool shop, (formerly a
woodworking activity), was 534m² in size. |

With a capital of
25 155€ Mr. DELAMARRE, with the
guarantee of his own house, had to borrow 106 715€.
The growing demand for press tooling was such that MPO rapidly
grew in size and personnel. Daniel DELAMARRE requested aid from
the Community of Athis-de-l'Orne and local administration to
construct new shops and invest in state of the art machines.
In 1987 the company employed
20 people.
In 1991, with the
construction of offices and a supplementary shop of 500m²
the personnel grew to
35 People.
