Extension of the
MPO Champion II plant at Athis-de-l'Orne |

Following a year of civil
engineering, MPO Champion II now dispose of 2 400mē extra
covered area permitting the installation of :
1
coil-fed 2 000
T press-Cattaneo;
1
press - 1 250 T Spiertz.
MPO invested in these presses to reply to it's customers
needs in size and capacity.
The new area was opened last November

GRM, DEAL and SMO obtained this accreditation in
January 2008.
The MPO Group now has 26 of it's companies certified within

During September 2006, A2MO carried out a re-fit of a
'MULTINORMA
5000' machine, originally dedicated to 3D
machining of soft materials.
Newly equipped with motors and spindles, it is now able to
2D and 3D machine hard materials, (heat treated steels, A50,
Z160 CDV12, 110 Kg) of large dimensions.

The A.L.F.A. project was initiated by
GALIA (Group for Improving communications in the car
industry) and supported by 'CTN' (Centre of new technology)
for the Lower-Normandy region.
The ever growing number of products to manage, the
modification of transmission tools with their customers, the
importance of internal and external traceability and the will
to stay competitive and reactive have led the MPO Group to
integrate the
in October 2004.
MPO
Champion Emboutissage is one of the 5 pilot plants for this
project in 'Lower-Normandy' and is equipped with this tools. |
